I am a newbie here (started spending money on April 16) and have now experienced being banned by a performer. It was quite a shock.
Yes, I was bouncing from person to person trying to decide where to land. So, Dave Silver commented "in and out, mikey". I explained why. And to further explain why I did not do a Private: "As you can see, I have 0 credits. I have used up the amount I allowed myself for the month and it is not yet the 15th." (Side note: I have spent over $2K here in last 30 days. Yeah, he doesn't know that and can rightly say: but what have you done for me today?)
Before any more conversation, I was suddenly looking at a different performer. When I tried to reenter Dave Silver's page, I got the big display for banned and the text that it is usually for bad behavior. When I tried to send a message asking what I did to offend, it would not let me because "Sorry, but you have been banned by this performer and cannot send them messages."
Guess he was having a bad morning.

I'm going to try to give Ole Dave the benefit of the doubt here for sec. Let's look at the facts.

Dave Silver has been a model on Flirt a whole 10 short weeks (NEW-BEE) with no VODs and no reviews (UBER-INEXPERIENCED NEW-BEE).

It could have been an innocent mistake or maybe he just hit the wrong button. Perhaps it was an error in judgement in which case he might have lost a potentially good customer.

Either way , it's his loss not yours, 1mikeytexas. If you are truly curious, wait 24 hours and shoot him an email through the Flirt system explaining your feelings.

Thanks, Clone. And thanks for the link to the other post. Interesting comments and viewpoints, especially by some of the performers.
Someone should point to my comment that I have spent so much money here in my first 30 days, and that maybe I should use that money for an actual licensed psycho-analyst instead.

p.s. Not that curious. And he may not have reviews and VOD because he won't show his face. And honestly says No to those that ask. (Not me, I liked his other attributes and I don't make requests if I cannot tip.)

In the year that I have been coming here, I have been banned 3 times-each of these times it was without any warning. My policy is that if I am banned, I do not go back. I know there is a thread about banning in which some members say it is no big deal and some models say there are worse things that models can do to members, but that system message telling me that I have been banned and it is usually for bad behavior bothers me-especially when I have not been advised that I behaving badly. I know that it has been said that a member can be banned accidently but my 3 cases were not accidents. There are many models a member can visit. Indeed, lately the turnover in models has been amazing. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Thank u

Awww mikey bro, you are on a roll.LOL. It's been my experience that quite a few of the non-English speaking models can't or don't understand and/or appreciate a good sarcastic sense of humour..LOL. It just doesn't translate well in cybersexspace sometimes.

Maybe you need to stick to the more conventional "Hi-I'm-Still-Kinda-New-To-The-Site-Please-Help-Me-Assimilate" introduction (like I did), then easeeeeee your way into the jokes.

banning is probably the great equalizer for models who feel vulnerable and are sick of the crap they have to put up with at times. a model that bans often is not comfortable in this kind of job. in essence, they're banning themselves from work.

In the LAST 48 HOURS, i have been banned twice from a room. In one room, i simply said "hello".
In both cases, i was not abusive nor being a nuisance.
You might say, "well just go to another room, and dont go back to that modal". But i would like to say that "BLOCKING MEMBERS CREATES A VERY NEGATIVE VIEW OF THE SITE" :mad

I dont know why im writing this becasue it wont be acted upon anyway. But i think blocking customers for reasons other than being abusive to themselves or other customers, is just stupid, apart from the fact you will end up with no customers. (we where all grays once). This site used to be flirt4free, no i feel just to sit in a room, you best tip 50 or get banned.
Think twice before you block someone.

You're always welcome to come into my room. Chat or not .... who knows, maybe we will hit it off ;)

Got all the memos lol, i apologize for the ban, im not quite sure what the rules are here but i assumed no credits was a good reason to ban someone, especially when they are just observing for a while without contributing to the chat.

I will know better for next time

In 8 or 9 years that I have been on this site I have been banned once.... back about 5 or 6 years ago. It happened within a couple of minutes of my entry into the room. Up to the time of the ban I had said only the common niceties to get to know the model. Since he was not a Native English speaking model I thought perhaps that something I said had been misunderstood. I waited till the ban was up and went back to his room to apologize for what ever I had said that caused the model to ban me. Before I could say a word He began to apologize in broken english to me profusely. It had been a total mistake. That mistake led to 3 years of friendship and enjoyment. I was never happier to have been banned. just my :twocents
