Hi guys it's my very first time posting in this forum, just couldn't help myself as my eyes start sparkling as soon as I hear the word "travel". Thank you Nomad for starting this thread
I was very fortunate to live in and visit many countries, here are my favs in no particular order:
Italy (my home country) If you have the time beside the well know cities (Venice, Rome, Florence...you can skip Milan unless you're really into fashion

) try to visit the smaller cities such as Verona, Siena, Bologna..they're incredibly charming. Also the lakes are not to be missed: Lake Como and Lake Garda. If you feel like relaxing between touring the cities rent a room in Tuscany Chianti region and go for a wine tour and/or take cooking classes.
Bermuda. Just a few hours from the US East Coast is by far the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Plenty of fun activities, snorkeling, diving, fishing or just exploring. Beautiful pink sandy beaches. Best time to visit is the end of July for Bermuda's biggest holiday: cup match. Lots of partying going everywhere

Best experienced with a significant one
Orlando: big Disney dork, theme park fan and adrenaline junkie here so that place is like Mecca for me
Tokyo: love Japan, love the culture, the food, the people. If you think life in NY is fast, try visiting Shinjuku subway station during rush hour

If you love theme parks do not miss Tokyo Disneyland (they have the best WInnie the Pooh ride ever) and the unique Tokyo DisneySea (a whole water-themed park which you won't find anywhere else in the world)
Hong Kong: for shopping until your credit card drops. Very cheap electronics, and tax free!
Beijing, China: The Great Wall has to be seen to be believed, try avoiding the touristy bits (they're more like a mall) and book a tour to the more secluded areas of the Wall like Ba Da Ling . Do not go there if you're afraid of heights!
Of course being gay here's my fav top spots for gay friendliness
London (because Soho is always Soho. Catch a West End show and then head to the clubs or bars)
Madrid (La Chueca is by far one of the friendliest Gay neighborhood I've ever visited. Grab a bottle of wine and sit down by the street and just make new friends!)
Barcelona (my favorite city facing the sea. Go for happy hour to la Barceloneta, the city beach) and get lost marveling at those Spanish hunks
Gran Canaria Islands (beautiful, warm weather all year round. Don't miss the only gay Mall I've ever visited the Jumbo, lots of action going at night

Fun Drag shows, nice restaurants
from my bucket list:
Mardi Gras in Sydney
Carnival in Rio de Janeiro
Mykonos
Gay Mediterranean Cruise
...all the above hopefully with somebody special
Happy travel to all of you!
