A new Group Chat experience: extra time

I attended a Group Chat with a new model who was not only inexperienced but seemed to have very little English. He was obviously being helped out by his studio manager, who was typing all the model's responses behind the scenes.

The model offered to do a cum show in a 10 minute Group Chat. He tried very hard, but didn't quite make it in time. However, the Group Chat extended without a break. The screen went seamlessly back to the pledge screen, showing the pot of coins with total pledges (117% of target). The model did a nice cum shot within about a minute, and the Group Chat finished about 30 seconds after that. Everyone was happy!

I haven't seen any announcements about models being able to extend Group Chats in this way, and don't know if it was only possible because the studio manager was on hand or because the Group Chat pledges were more than target. However, it was very good to see.

Interested if others know the answer, or have had similar experiences.

I don't know if it's a new feature or if it was just a glitch. Anyone and everyone got to see that cum shot (including me), and not just the people in the original group.

I�m with f4f for about 2 month, so I don�t know the times before group-chat. I�m a big fan of this feature (but this was dicussed in another topic). Anyway:

@ Ronnie and especially the models

Maybe to imply an extension-possibility would prevent the trouble a model has to go through, if the groups topic - for what reason soever, as mentioned in threads above) - hasn�t been met.

I wish there was a feature like ronnie-uk thought he saw--that the model has the ability to extend the time of the group chat (within reason and without requiring new pledges) when they're close but unable to quite make the advertised goal of the group before time runs out. It avoids having to start another group, go to party, or cum in open chat, and it keeps from creating a window for one member to steal the model to pvt at the expense of the other group members. Most models I've seen really do want to make good on the group goals, but they're only human.

On another note, I'd also like the model to have the ability to set the minimum pledge to something other than 50 credits. A 15 or 20 minute cum show deserves a higher minimum than a "get naked for 5 minutes" group.

I was at a Party Chat tonight with 125 users (the most I have ever seen) and I spotted that one of my US favourites had launched a Group Chat at the same time.

I was going to visit him to tell him not to be too disapppointed if he did not make his Group Chat target. It was not the best time. However, I know he uses the forums so I thought it would be better to post here.

There will be times when no-one pledges, but models should not be discouraged. It is very much a matter of luck which members and which other models are on-line at any particular time, and how many other Group Chats and Party Chats are going on at the same time.

Try again after 15 or 30 minutes. Things could be completely different

New Group Chat question:

Should models do a free naked show during the "pledge" period?

I have been to a couple of Group Chats where the model advertised a cum show for a particular target, and then did a free naked, hard cock show to encourage more tips. In both cases the models failed to reach their target and there was no cum show.

I wanted to suggest to the models that giving a free show would not help, but the golden rule is to let the model run his room in the way he wants. Also, I may be wrong. It might be the best the thing to do in some cases.

Any views?

I was in a models room last night and he was doing a free show (bare naked & stroking it) while the pledge meter was going. Nobody pledged. Why should they? Every one was getting the show for free. I've taken this model private and what he was doing while the pledge meter was going is pretty much what he would have done in the group chat so basicaly every one got a free show. Why would there be a reason to pledge? It's one thing to give a few peeks & teases to entice pledging but giving a full on stroke show in free chat, well thats just silly. And guys wonder why no one is pleding sometimes.

Jack and Cupidonn are two of my favourites, and I have had a number of hot private and party shows with both of them. (Not together - but perhaps one day....)

Firstly, I just want to thank them for not regularly posting new topics here and bumping each others topics as they did a few weeks ago. I suggested to them that they might be losing some friends that way, and Adam made a similar point at post #3 at the top of the forum.

I think Jack and Cupidonn are the first of the Russian models to try out Group Chat, which was just introduced a few days ago. It was great to see. I visited both of them last night, and although the pledges didn't reach the targets I hope they won't be too discouraged.

I think it will take a while before people really get used to the new feature, and the big improvements compared with Party Chat. This is the summer and the holiday season, with many people away. Things should be in full swing in a few weeks time.

Also I think there will be a fair bit of experimenting needed by the models to find the best mix of pledge time, show time, target and content. It might be good to set lower targets to start with for more members and models to see how Group Chat works.

One of the great features of Group Chat is the refund system. If members pledge to give a tip and the target is not reached then the tip is refunded automatically. That means you can pledge the same tip again (eg whenever the model decides to do another Group Chat, perhaps with a different target).

I will look out for any new Group Chats that Jack and Cupidonn do and happily pledge the tips that were not taken up last night. If enough people do the same we should get some great shows.

My original post which you just quoted was written a year ago, when Group Chat was first introduced. Jack Vorobey and Cupidonn were two of my Russian favourites at that time, and I was very keen to see them have successful Group Chats. Like some others, they were rather discouraged by their early experiences. Group Chat is really well established now, and lovely Russian models like you can do successful Group Chats day after day. I have said in another topic how much I have enjoyed your sensuous and erotic Group Chats.

While this topic is at the top of the forum can I just repeat for everyone's benefit the magic words: PLEDGE EARLY.

I have been surprised to see that there are always new members who think that Group Chat works in the same way as Party Chat. They think they can waste their credits if there isn't a show, so they hold back until they know the show is going to happen.

In a recent Group Chat I typed: "Cmon guys. Don't wait. Show starts as soon as [500] reached. If not, pledges are refunded". Pledges then came in quickly.

I hope this is helpful, particularly to newer models.

... but I should add that members should now be careful when they click the Pledge button.

I visited a model today who was doing a Group Chat for 400. I clicked the Pledge button, and found that I had pledged 100 rather 50. Unusual to see a minimum pledge of 100 for such a low target. As it happened, no-one else pledged and I automatically got my credits back

I've never been a huge fan of group chats anyway and with the new minimum pledge options, I assumed all the models would just bump it up to 100 credits anyway and forget about ever lowering it. So far, that's all I've seen change besides the pledge times are unbearably long now. So meh. No big loss.

I guess I'm missing exactly what the benefits to the models are supposed to be? They requested these options, but honestly, I just don't get it what's so great about any of the new improvements. Maybe someone will chime in and tell us one way or another.
