As a customer here since 1999....

....I have to ask....

Where is all the traffic gone?

I mean I not care too much for mean begging greybies, but some do register....

but even the white and gold accounts seem to have vanished across the board...

from higher power score to lower power score, from veteran models to newer models...

it seems recently that traffic is all but dead, or almost dead..

any ideas or official as to what happened???

any ideas to jump start not just traffic but paying traffic again??

Of course Paull doesn't have any figures to back up what he says, because those figures would never by made available by VS (and in fact an identical post in the Female Performer Forum has been deleted)

And Ronnie your statement that some models have broken some records in the last couple of months doesn't refute Paull's postulation that traffic is falling. Those records (e.g Longest Paid Show, Most Credits in a Day, etc) could have been broken even in a falling traffic situation

It would be interesting to know if you have any facts and figures to back up what you say.

There has been a world-wide recession for the last few years, of course. Despite the recession, some models here have been breaking some ALL-TIME records. Have a look at the Hall of Fame, and see some of the records broken in August and September this year:

Well I known years ago a female had a 27 hour long private so mayyybe that 24 hour all time was for for the males only? as the female side it was 27 hours and was previously 24 and 40 minutes before that, so saying "ALL-TIME" records is not accurate if saying for the whole site. When I saw that "record" being broke in August...I literally laughed knowing it was not a record at all. now mind his time was no small feat,and grats to him, but record it was not for all site..males maybe,but not all site.

I apologize for after being on here since 1999 I not recall the female model's name.

There is a thread also some where else I can not refer to, that there a few models have noticed the same thing...of things being slow for hours.

I fell into the trap of thinking of Europe and the US as "the world", but China, India, Brazil and some other countries have been doing pretty well. Hope things are booming in Australia

The Hall of Fame figures may not prove anything, but they seem to provide a pretty convincing refutation of the OP's unsubstantiated statement that "recently ... traffic is all but dead, or almost dead.." Adam Foxx's 553 shows in 1 month for instance ... :winkwink

I have noticed things slowing down as well.. In one night i counted 6 failed group chats.5 getting absolutely no pledges. 3 failed party chats...all 3 getting no tips and in the 2 and a half hours only 1 active private. It seems a lot of models rooms are quiet--even the greys aren't talking..and several models no longer broadcasting. A lot of familiar users no longer on. I guess its a sign of the times and the economy

To disprove the assertion I think we just point to evidence that recent traffic is very much alive

I spend a lot of time with asian models, and it is very noticeable there that traffic has fallen quite considerably. However, there are still good nights, when like London buses, all come at once!!!
I dont think this just applies to Flirt, I see same trend on other sites also, and has been on going now for some months.

Maybe it is the economic climate, people have less "free" money to play with. I for one hope it livens up a bit on the asian rooms, its too quite there.

Yes I think models who set on the sound, who can speak English and have a good personality naturally get some traffic and regulars who like to hang around and listen. Drew is one of them.

For those models who only write "Go pvt, bb", they will clearly not get much interest with loads of people hanging around and pledging.

Not sure if the site overall has lost traffic but know that certain models/performers have been doing well over the past year even with the economy as it is! For example, Sebastian Carter has received his 1.5 million credit badge in just a little over a year. I can't think of one occasion where Seb has begged for a tip or for someone to take him private, not even once! Just great conversation and treating everyone in his room with the respect that they deserve. And he knows many of his regulars by name who take him private just to be able to say hi and find out what is going on with him. I see many times when his privates are just conversations with no nudity at all. So if you want to succeed at f4f, know your customers by name, treat them well, be interested in them, and they will reward you handsomely!

I agree with Paull77, total snooze-ville around here lately.

I've only been here a total of six months and in that short amount of time I've seen and felt a dramatic change in the vibe of whole site. With what seems like a massive influx of new names and new faces, I've visited literally dozens upon dozens of rooms lately with (perhaps inexperienced?) models just sitting there motionless, expressionless, sound off or music blaring, automatic greeting on, with a neon banner flashing NAKED FOR $, JERK FOR $$, CUM FOR $$$. That kind of show I can get from a video. No banter, no conversation, no discussion, no connection and no fun.

I also been pretty puzzled by the all strange new upgrades Flirt felt the need to roll out without even conferring with their own members as to whether they would be a welcomed addition to the F4F experience. ::shrug:: Guess you reap what you sow. ZZZZZzzzzzzz

P.S The whole tactic comment Vsheather made? Creepy

You will see from my comments here that I think Paull77's original blunt assertion was wrong, so I hope that your response doesn't add credence to his point. :winkwink

I think there will always be comments about quiet rooms, which is not surprising with up to 150 male performers on-line at the same time (often more than the female performers).

I don't know what traffic options you have been testing, but if you are making more changes to where models appear on the Live Chat page I hope you might look at this topic in the General Discussions forum:
