Hey guys, need some help pls.
Can someone explain to me how these 2 works (party chat and group chat)? I am not able to use them. Why?
thank you!
The handbook is pretty clear, but here you go:
Party Chat- Encourages tipping. Tips must keep coming in order to keep the party going (10cr/min might be the minimum, but don't quote me on that). Anytime there aren't enough tips, you get a warning and have 5 minutes to "get out of the red" so to speak. Party chats are best done with goals, starting from smaller amounts like 50-75 for shirt and building up to larger amounts like 200 for some sexy time for a few minutes. You can have themes to your party chat, and some things are more suited for it. It can also be used to draw attention to your room, although it does draw "Tip Riders" (my new term for people that watch party chats but don't tip). Some members are also turned off by party chat, but you can't please everyone. Try it out once it's available. Keep it fun and sexy, as always. HAVE TO BE TOP 15% OF ACTIVE PERFORMERS. MOST CUSTOMERS TRY TO GET YOU TO DO THIS WHEN YOUR NEW BC THEY EITHER DO NOT KNOW YOU CANT RIGHT AWAY OR WANT TO WATCH SHOW FOR FREE.
Multi User- This is something you set when you log on and can be changed later, but is connected to your login type, which is how many credits per minute (cpm) you choose to charge. Private chat is when a member pays x a minute to have you to themselves. In Multi-user, you're charging a cpm rate that every user involved pays to be in on a private chat. Look at it this way: a private is like you dancing for one person, they paid to take you in the back. In multi-user, someone paid to take you in the back and a sign out front lit up that said "Performance for 60cpm". They choose to pay that cover and now you're performing for 3 people instead of the one. Each of these members are able to chat as well. There are login options listed as "combo" which gives the option for private or multi-user, the multi-user rate being less than the private rate (such as 60/40 pvt/combo). Be warned that most users will go for the cheaper combo rate and you're not guaranteed to have more than one viewer at a time. Meaning that, in the example above, you're making 40cpm instead of 60cpm and still only performing for one viewer. Other members will ask you to switch out of Multi-user because they want you to themselves.
Group Chat- This is available to the top 25% of models (any model with a pulse?). Recently the options changed, so now you pick a credit goal, say 300. You then set a minimum pledge, say 50. Then you set the amount of time you want to allow for the goal to be met, say 10 min. Then you set the length of the show, say 5 min. You then describe what you're going to do in the show, here we'll say strip tease to whatever sexy love making music you prefer. Should you only get NEAR your goal and not quite meet it, you have the option to start the show regardless, maybe you only got 250, but you're bored and you'll take it. This is more likely at higher amounts, but is up to you. Most members prefer group chat (just read the forums). Should your show not happen, any credits pledged go back to the member who pledged, meaning you only get paid when the show happens and is FULFILLED. DO NOT END A SHOW EARLY. Members may try to get you to do this to get their credits back. So don't. Group chat also prevents "Tip Riding" (I'm really proud of that term) that you see in Party Chat. Everyone that watches the show paid to be there. Your goal, pledge amount, time frame, and length of show are all up to you.
Privates are disabled while in group or party, so you have to leave that chat type in order to have one. If someone comes in requesting one, if your party is lagging or group doesn't look promising, feel free to bail and take the private, addressing anyone who pledged/tipped (they usually understand). It's good practice to follow through on any tips you get in party, as these are already yours.
Remember that all tips come with a giftbox icon and are displayed in pink/magenta/light purple/mauve storm text. Bash, threaten, ban, report and otherwise deal with fake tippers as you wish.
