You are right! The first thing that I like about your post was that you quoted "model". It is true that out there are many that thinks that are better because are just good looking, and that is wrong. At least as for me, I always tell the truth. Is my policy, no lie, simple! When someone ask me something that I am unable to tell, I simply keep quiet. So my humbly advice to you is that do not get discouraged, because here are many "models" that really are worth it. I completey agree and it seems to bit me in the ass. Im nothing but honest and truthful and i get nothing i deserve, however models who lie and rude seem to benfit,

This is not a dating site, it's a fantasy site. Models for the most part don't give their real names and often do not divulge their real locations or their real ages, so why should they be required to divulge thier "real" sexual orientation or relationship status? Models are actors playing roles. It has always been this way

In the movie "Brokeback Mountain" actors Jake Gylenhaal and Heath Ledger played the roles of Jack Twist and Ennis Del Mar, two men who had a romantic and sexual relationship. Jack Twist and Ennis Del Mar, the characters in the movie, were gay or bisexual, but this does not mean that the actors Jake Gylenhaal and Heath Ledger were gay or bisexual, nor does it mean they were not telling the truth if they said they were straight. The orientation of the actors was not relevant to the roles they were playing

Models on this site you are actors playing roles. In my opinion the orientation of the actors is personal information which is irrelevant anyway if they are playing the role of gay or bisexual models

Jeffie - I don't know if there is a single answer, because members relate to performers here in lots of different ways. Two examples:

(A) Some members like to develop good, friendly relationships with one or two special favourites. They might even do long private shows where they simply chat. In this situation I think that trust and honesty are pretty important.

(B) Other members like to visit lots of different performers, often in group or party chat. They are mainly interested in the performance they see on the screen (as in your film example). The real name, age, location, sexual orientation, interests and activities of the performer are not that important.

I have enjoyed a mixture of A and B, and variations. This is a site with great choices, and all of this is acceptable. However, it does make the "truth" or "fantasy" point a bit more complicated :twocents

Reality - friendship with Honesty and Truth does exist in MANY models :twocents

It takes time and patience on BOTH the member and model .

This is a model's job and usually counted on to make some income [Yes , VS / Flirt4Free fires models who does not earn income

Models often have many visitors/members in the past who have been not honest . Members often know at least 1 model who has been dishonest .

When you finally find honest and truthful models - treat them very nice . They are indeed people to be friends and able to develop friendships .
I often ask a non invasive question like "What is your favorite food / color" and tip .
EVERYTHING can NOT be told in open .
Take a little time in private to get to know the PERSON .

This site is a sex site . There are MANY members and models who are GREAT people to get to know

Ronnie, over the years I have developed good, friendly relationships with a number of performers. When that special relationship develops honesty and trust are of course important, as they are in all relationships. Over the years I have spent a lot ot time "just chatting" with a number of performers and many have said to me "I'm not really gay (or bi) like it says in my bio" and have disclosed other personal information. I have also been truthful with those performers. In these cases I have got to know the actors, not the roles they are playing on this site

Over the years I have also learned that the great majority of the models I have beome friendly with don't write their own bios and sometimes don't even see them - the bios are completed by studio administrators with little or no regard for accuracy. The fact that a bio is inaccurate does not mean that the model is not telling the truth as suggested by the first three posters

I do not have the pleasure to know you yet, Jeffie, also you do not know me. With that I tell, believe me, that I like your previously example about that movie. Is not my intention by any mean tell that a specific model tell or not the truth, I do not know that. But what I know is that I work on my own here, not on a studio, and I do my best to be me. I never going visiting other models page, nor have even member account, but others visit me, and as always, are good, and not so good. Especially when chat with me on Spanish, and tell me things that does not matter to post here, but I find not fair to members. Here at flirt all friendships start as virtual friendship - you get friend to a model who plays exactly the role which is expected. There is no truth and no lie - it is business. Over the time you may learn more about the model. And there is still no lie behind as fantasy is and stays fantasy.
Sometimes you may come virtually that close to a model that virtuallity turns a bit in direction reality - you may see the person and not the model. There will still be a barrier but there still will be secrets the model keeps for him/herself.

I'd like to go into a "models" room and know that their bio is truthful. I would also like to know the "model" isn't lying just to make more money. If your str8...then say your str8, if your gay...say your gay. if you have a partner...then say so. Stop lying to guests and you will make much more money forming attachments based of mutual respect. Since we are all into the subject of brutal honesty blah blah blah, allow me to point out that ANYONE (model or member) who could and would refute that real-life (offline) relationships DON'T happen here risks permanent banning from the site. Although it's HIGHLY ill-advised for a multitude of logical reasons, there IS a 1% out there who have done IT (not naming any names).

That pretty much blows the silent minority opinions to VS Regulation Book Hell, but let's NOT blindly assume that integrity and honesty isn't worth a rat's ass. cause if a member ask something they must know , in the second place most (i do) tell the thruth cause i find it just the way i am , i have nothing to hide :P

lies don't seem to hold up over time. the models that are truthful usually develop many fans because of it. it's the sharing element that is very intriguing to most. if you share nothing but lies, there is nothing really interesting about a 2 dimensional person. honesty is a fantasy world is very sexy.
