ok, I'll respond ...

You can't just lump "customers" together, because we are all individuals, we are all different, we have different likes and dislikes. Something which is a turn-on to one member could be a turn-off to another member. As a model you need to be able to cater for all tastes

Peter every customer is different I totally agree!! Things I noticed is if we take a model/performer private , I expect action, everyone isnt rich with credits cost "lots " plus we pay vip dues !! Also it takes 300 credits for a recording. Vips do not get to watch for free if their dues /cost for the month has expired, then if u do not do VIP, we cant watch the private shows that we we paid for " without streaming or renting".So performers that ask for credits in private sucks so to speak, lol my opinion !!! Meaning no disrespect at all but we are customers,Ben Franklin say's if u lose one , u lose 100+ :angel

You seem to be missing the point. The fact is we are all different, therefore while there are some members who would like more conversation in open room there are others who wouldn't. There are some who would like more teasing in open room, there are others who wouldn't. As a model it's your job to make all members happy. You won't get a consensus here

so wait am i being told how to be politically correct? haha haha ha.... see i find that funny because of all the things i overlook in an hour calling someone who makes a financial purchase of a service a "customer" definitely seems kinda far fetched for an insult or negative at all.... if you purchase goods or services, you are a customer. thanks

If the members (fans, friends, visitors, guests, users) are called "customers", they might start to treat the models (performers) as "products" and not people ...

No, it is not political correctness .. it is common courtesy.

So there's one example of everyone being different. I have no problems with the word customer. This is a site where we pay money to interact with good-looking guys. To me, that makes us customers and that's fine with me.

Then, some people prefer a different and that is fine too. We are all different.

Customer is a respectable term. A webcam performer is a provider of services. A provider of services without customers will promptly go broke. A relationship between a model and his customer might develop into something more. A member might become a performer's friend, but from the beginning he is a customer and it's rare for a relationship to continue if the "friend" stops being a customer. In short, business requires a provider of goods or services (in our case performers) and purchasers of those goods or services (customers). No other term describes the relationship with greater accuracy than "customer." The other terms suggested are inexact and in some cases pretentious.

Hope you don't mind another contribution to the "customer" debate, Peter :winkwink

I am very happy with the word "customer" in relation to VS. I pay them money so that I can enjoy the Flirt4Free site.

If I visit a new performer, who may be a student struggling to pay his bills, I will probably give him one or two tips as support and encouragement. In this situation, I don't see myself as a "customer" of the performer.

There are a number of similar situations where we give credits as a friendly gesture rather than as a commercial transaction. That is why I much prefer the word "member".

as I like a friendly debate with my fellow customers (oops - members). It adds a bit of interest to the forum
