Have you noticed a few fun time models on the site just don't seem to be coming online lately. I find this to be very strange in view of the fact that they had a following of fans, and just wonder why they just never tweeted out any message.
Think we all know what type of site this is, but alas often a member for whatever reason makes a connection with a model (down guys I don't mean the type of connection that some of you may be thinking).
I notice this is never the case with the long time models on the site, but rather the new ones. Not sure if it is the result of $$$ or merely that the model in question really did not have their heart into being a model.
Just curious has any other member experienced this and hey all you models out there would be interested in what you might have to say about this.

Some models are in school and need to take breaks away from the site to focus on their studies. They often cannot find the time during their school terms to be online regularly, due to the need to attend classes, study, do homework, etc.

I don't think many of the new performers have their hearts set on being models, I think they do it out of necessity because they need the money. When they find they don't earn as much as they were promised, or they anticipated, they leave of their own accord or they are terminated by their studio

This is nothing new; it's been going on since the site came into existence

I think the responses given are most likely correct. Something else in their life or merely not getting the financial gain that they envisioned. Sort of sad though if a member had formed something of a friendship bond, but hey guess that is life. Thanks for taking the time to read the thread and post replies :thumbsup

If I'm not mistaken Russia requires military service of young males qualified physically and mentally.I have known of several Russian performers to disappear for a year in the military and return to Flirt4Free when their service was completed. Two that come to mind are Evilin and Pashka X.

VS has not been able to retain their most talented Male performers for a long time now. Furthermore, they don't provide enough training, support or financial incentive to attract qualified new models. The site is over-run by hordes of European and S American studios making almost every room/model an identical cookie-cutter version of the one before. No one stands out--same wallpapers, same furniture, same poses, scenes and scripts. Any other tiny shred of diverse ethnicity that is unfortunate enough to sign up is cast into the shark tank alone to stare blankly at the camera and wait for a miracle.

Meanwhile the members are f*rced to endure endless unwanted upgrades that add no value whatsoever.

This is no longer a Premiere Adult Site, it's a parody of one.

Forgottenclone, I believe your contention "...the members are f*rced to endure endless unwanted upgrades that add no value whatsoever" is an exaggeration. In the eight years of my visits to Flirt4Free improvements have been substantial. The video is larger and sharper; sound is now available in all the rooms I've visited lately. When I first came here the viewer's options were much more limited: He could pay six-dollars a minute for a private show or two dollars to voyeur. Now a visitor of modest means can participate in group and party chat, tip to avoid being labeled a freeloader, watch VODs to acquaint himself with a model's willingness and aptitude, make an offer for a show at a reduced price the performer will often accept, and acquire credits at a discount. I doubt these are "unwanted upgrades." In any competitive business a company must innovate or shut its doors.

Some of the changes haven't pleased me. For example, while a doubling or tripling of the number of models expands customer choice, it also thins the number of visitors in the ordinary room. Fewer visitors diminish the model's probability of getting shows. The disappearance of the postage-stamp-size window that allowed a peek behind the curtain during a performance necessitates entering voyeur without knowing what's happening in the room.

Finally, VS has to be profitable to stay in business. My preference would be for the models to be paid far more. On the other hand, had VS asked for and followed my advice it would have bankrupted long ago.

I like to think that I can be a fun-time model, AND I have been off and on for the past year. I love the connection I've made with each and everyone of my regular participants; so your post caught me eye because I probably "disappear" from time to time. In reality, I maintain another two jobs, I have a successful career and numerous relationships which require, at least, minimal maintenance.

I understand that my relationships here at F4F / VS require some maintenance, as well. Keep an eye out for me.... I make an appearance from time to time. It is always the best of my time and your money to take me private ... that way it is worth it for everyone ;) - Jonas :hitit

As a long time member I also see in the last 2 years an enormous
turnover in the models side.Most last just a couple of weeks or months.
I feel the competition is fierce and many can't make ends meet because of
the super abundance of new faces...

This is no longer a place to come and visit old friends ( except for some
wonderful old timers I still come to see...)

pwofff...you guys complain to much and do so much less for models .....website can`t gave free credits to models to they can work....and most of regulars are chatty and willing for fun...but not willing to spend...there are still few left around that really are willing to help models and try to encourage them to continue good work here....pwofff! ! try not to aim my head...its the only thing that makes me stop from reply to all ur interesting posts... ! don`t bother to reply to my post btw I have a stomach flu and I duno what I might post around X_x

I agree. Need to fix current problems & bugs before introducing a new interface laden with them. One could argue health.gov rollout went smoother. One is led to believe they did no testing on new interface whatsoever.

On training & retaining, intelligent and successful performers quickly learn the ways to keep 100% of what they make. This industry is just starting to experience the same realities the music industry did with downloads & file sharing in the last 90's. Question is what are they going to do about it?
