I understand the model may want to listen to music while in their room but many play it way to loud. Or they listen to something that is heard by the guests as static or feedback... Yes you can mute them... But I want to hear their voice if they speak...

Freem , end of the day it's customers that pay your living, if customers are saying they dislike something that is disrupting their enjoyment of a service, I would seriously consider taking it seriously.

There is way too many models that sit there like door stops and blast very loud music in their open room, to the point it is causing customers to move to other rooms. This is also a major reason many customers are fed up too on here, no customers no money... So replying in such a manner clearly does not help your case. Music can be enjoyed by performers but they should also consider turning it down to a point they hear it without turning the room into a disco and having it so loud that the conversations between customers and performers is not understood. It's a chat site not a radio station here.

Many good models understand this and have music at a certain level and even use music to make the rooms fun, but the one thing they don't do is make the music so loud that the customers can't hear them when they speak. I know some models play music on their computers and they have not even realised the computer is not set to mic but to what the computer hears and so it plays the music out very loud into open room and in private, there are many VODS showing this on the site where the music is so loud that nothing can be heard apart from the music or the distorted sound of the music because it is so loud.

Also regarding this comment "Cause we are definitely are not required to fulfill your every desire especially in out tastes in music and etc." No one is asking you to fulfill every desire, they are asking you to be heard and not have to try hearing you over loud music, which is exactly the point of this site it's a chat site, so you are basically saying I don't want to offer a chat room situation but a radio station. Maybe take up a radio station discs jokey type job then.


Regarding answering the phone, there is a break button on the performer application, it is one click before or while you try answering the phone. I also don't think 99% of calls that are seen in open room are emergency calls, some models sit there chatting to friends and family while they are working. Some customers see that as rude behavior, due to the fact they are clearly being ignored while the performer is busy chatting on a phone. Some models that use Flirt Phone while working even state they only answer calls in private so not to be rude to other customers in open room, other models will either click break or let the other customers in the room know they are on a flirt phone call and will be with them soon, so not to come of looking rude to other customers in the room. It's just polite manners.

I agree it would be 1 thing if it was in private chat, But if its open chat when no one is tipping even if the music was lowered, then it means we just sit there in total silence looking at a computer screen with many people just sitting in the room not talking or tipping. Quote

Credits are expected when sitting on a site providing a service. And as far as the music laws. I see top cam models playing and listening to music all the time. I have read all threads and laws. I have also worked on this site for over 2 years so I know exactly how to cam. If your not the one sitting behind the cam then don't give advice on what we feel, because you obviously have no clue. Really? Credits are earned several ways but just sitting there doesn't usually work. If a member wants to give you a tip for sitting in open chat that is their choice, not their obligation. By all means if a member makes a request in the open room they should tip the performer. No model is providing a service just sitting in Open Chat. Asti the site rules have changed regarding allowing copyright music on the site, it is basically the performers responsibility now and the site is basically saying if you do it it's you that gets in trouble with the copyright holder and not the sites problem. Models don't get violations from the site for it now as they did in the past.

Basically it is up to the copyright holder to chase up any violations with the performer now and the site has made it clear it's not legally allowed and it's up to the performer now.

The model Freem's post defended the prerogative of models to play music they choose in their chat rooms. I have visited Freem's room several times and have found the music he selects tasteful and I suspect appealing to most of his visitors. I've noticed that many of his guests have praised his musical selections. He plays lots of love ballads and soft rock from the sixties and seventies as well as more up-to-date music. Never have I heard music in his room that was raucous or grating. His music certainly doesn't interfere with his chat. In my opinion his music engenders a romantic mood that motivates guests to click "Buy Credits."

At the same time I agree with the inimitable ourjeffie. (I'm afraid not to.) Some models do play "music" that I find repugnant, even if I like the model. Sometimes it does drown out conversation. It distracts instead of attracts-at least it does for guests who were born when melody and tasteful lyrics were in vogue. In such cases I turn off the sound.

Music affects mood, and if the selections inspire energetic performance I can understand the model's choice, but he should take into account the sensibilities of his guests. That might mean turning down the sound. Good manners and good business require consideration for the comfort and preferences of the visitor. Some models must think their audience consists of Bluds* and Crips.
