Seems there are a fair amount of model/performers on the site who while the see so many viewers in the room barely a few ever say anything. Geez guys a mere HELLO would be nice merely to show a bit of respect to that perfomer. It does not mean you have to remain in the room if the model whisper back things like take me private & lets have fun. Odds are that most performers on the site would enjoy some form of conversation regardless of the outcome & heck such chat might case a member to take the perfoemr private. :winkwink

Beachboy it seems to be the trend that now many members whisper to excess rather than just taking the model private. Any member can ask a model to turn on "Make an offer" if they have limited credits. It is fine with limited whispering, but for anyone making a comment in the actual chatroom more than likely that comment will be drowned out & bypassed by the model. Sort does not seem to be a good way to encourage new viewers to want to connect in such a situation. In any case if it works for you fine but fact is many models are now multi-tasking on a site which is not flirt so the end result seem preety clear.

“Excess” is subjective. Your definition is no more valid than anyone else’s. You’ve complained about users and models for more than a decade.. If you want to talk, you talk. If we want to whisper, we whisper.

For me depends to de context if a user is talking about personal information use the whisper meanwhile if some or one is o are promoting a model with motivational messagge in the room of the model in that case use the pubblic chat

The platform isn’t really built for open public chat, otherwise, you’d see the other users in the room. It’s mainly designed for models to interact directly with viewers. Also, just as a note, in most cases, like 99% of the time when I enter a room, the model greets me privately via whisper, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes that most people don’t realize, people should mind their own business

Seems once again I made beachboy come out on the defense.
Fact some performers on the site have informed me that they are puzzled as to why with a room full of viewers no one talks.
I get that some members whisper because they might not want a flood of message from a model who might be in the room trying to get that member to come to his or her chatroom.
Fact and a bit of a puzzle if a member is so keen on whispers then why is there not some thought to merely taking the performer private. Heck you can ask the performer to turn on the Make Me An Offer option.
Have to say if viewers have not noticed it by now quite a few performers are multi-tasking on another site and for a reason. Sounds in may ways the flirt itself might have lost the once prime position it used to have.
JUST MAYBE it might be up to members to bring about some change instead of going after a certain person on this forum.

Well, now that you’ve heard a few different perspectives from people here, the next time a performer tells you they’re “puzzled” about silent rooms, you can share what you’ve learned through your many threads on this topic in the forum, or you can invite them to come here and talk about it directly and start building a community of followers.

They can even just ask in their own room, “Why is no one talking?” or “Talk to me, guys.”
Most models already do that when they want engagement

You can also encourage them to visit belami rooms, those are always chatty, they’ll just have to be ready to tip though

I actually wanted to share a little perspective from the model side. 😊

When someone new enters the room, we never really know what kind of person they are. Some viewers are super social and enjoy public chat, others are shy or prefer a quieter, more private approach. For that reason, I (and I think many others) often start with a whisper. It’s a safe way to see how comfortable someone feels. If they reply publicly, great, now I know he enjoys the open chat and can keep it going there. But if they answer in a whisper, it usually means they prefer a bit more privacy, and that’s totally fine too.

It’s never about ignoring the room or being distant — it’s more about finding the best way to connect with each viewer so everyone feels comfortable and respected.

By the way, I haven’t had the pleasure of having you in my room yet, GOFISH, but since you’re so active here in the forums, I’d love to have a real chat with you someday. 😉

Oh man another moronic comment by a sanctimonious fool who constantly wants to lecture people about their behavior on a pay for sex site of all things. People whisper because they don’t want to talk publicly about sex in front of others, people whisper because it may for them be a form of foreplay to see if the model is worth chatting to people whisper for a lot of reasons it’s really none of your business so if you’re in that room and it’s too silent why don’t you leave—do us all a big favior,frankly if I heard you talking sexually in a room publicly I think I would get sick. It’s not just a matter of going pvt either many models on this site are way to expensive even with the make-an-offer option and no way I will go pvt with some of these guys until I get a good feel for if they’re going to be worth it.
